Jamming of paper in the printer is a common problem nowadays. Also, the recent models are not free from this issue. It happens for several reasons such as the use of wrong size and format of the paper. And most of the users don’t know the way to get rid of this problem.

Don’t stress yourself, our well-trained team of Brother printer Support is here for you with the proper and complete guidelines which you need to avoid these frequent jams. But firstly, you must take care while inserting the sheet into the paper tray, so that you will be able to print without any hurdle.

Now just go through the following steps and keep in mind while printing:

  • When you settle up your new printer or already having a printing machine, the first most thing you have to do is Insert a 16 – 24 Ib sheets in Media Tray and 20 – 39 Ib in the Multi-purpose tray.

  • Then you have to do thick settings from the Media Thicker Switch.

  • When you use papers which are heavier than 24 Ib then use the Multi-Purpose Tray for the cases. Never use the paper which is designed for inkjets printers as these papers are coated with a substance that might be dangerous for your normal printing machine’s fuser. Only use the coated media which is specially designed for Brother laser printers.

  • You should only use the transparencies provided by Brother.

  • You have to put these sheets under the hooks which are located at the front of the media tray.

  • Before putting these sheets on the trays, fan the papers so that they do not stick together.

  • Place only the required quantity on the tray and it will be indicated by the red line appears on the side of the paper tray.

  •  Regularly or weekly clean the paper feed rollers and paper-pick rollers to remove dust from them.

These are the steps provided by our experts. We hope these steps would be beneficial for you. If you want more information regarding the above guidelines, then contact us at Brother Printer Support Canada 1-844-888-3870 and get instant help.
